This is the best carb you can buy for the Raptor 250. It does come off the bottom a little better than the Mikuni as it has an accelerator pump. It also produces just over 1 peak horsepower more. Kit includes a thumb throttle cable. The cable to the thumb throttle is much cleaner, as it aims forward. The only reason not to buy this carb is the expense.

This carb kit runs perfectly and makes very good horsepower. It also does not let the slide slam shut on landings like the stock CV carb does. Kit includes a thumb throttle cable. This is the carb you will find on Adam Campbell's Raptor 250 . As you will see, it runs extremely well. The throttle cable routing is not ideal as it has to go off to the side of the tank, then forward.
